Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer rates Roy Hodgson among the best managers he's worked with.
The Australian has played for the likes of Terry Venables, Steve McClaren and Guus Hiddink during his career.
Schwarzer said: "Roy has been exceptional - one of the best managers I have worked under.
"You should see him on the training ground, day in, day out. He doesn't stand around on the touchline watching and just barking instructions.
"He takes 95 per cent of the training sessions himself. That's exceptional to see a guy of his level standing doing that. You reap benefits from it.
"He has us playing football and, at times, we have outplayed the so-called better footballing teams.
"He is a great guy, a fantastic manager and deserves a lot of credit for why we are in this position."
