Fulham keeper Keller keen on Seattle MLS return

Fulham goalkeeper Kasey Keller admits he fancies playing his final years back home in the USA's MLS competition.

With a new Seattle expansion team mooted for 2009, Keller told USSoccerplayers: "It's an extremely attractive proposition. Hopefully at some stage it becomes a viable option, and coming from that area, it's obviously something I'd find extremely interesting.

"My kids are ten years old, and they've been in four different schools in three different countries. At some stage I would love to be able to settle somewhere and let them finish school. I think I owe it to them after everything they've done for me. And that's why Seattle makes such perfect sense.

"But I don't get to write my own contracts. There's other people in charge who get to do that, so at some future stage I'd love to sit down and not just have dinner with the owners, but to sit down and discuss what possibilities there actually are. But again, that's out of my control -- they may decide to go in a different direction.

"Like I said, there is a relationship, and if it becomes something, then I'm all for it. If it doesn't, I'll still be a fan of the new franchise."
