Fulham keen on ex-Arsenal captain Gilberto

Former Arsenal captain Gilberto Silva is being lined up for a return to the Premiership.

The Times says Gilberto has attracted interest from Premier League clubs including Fulham after his performances for Brazil this season.

He has two years left on his contract at Panathinaikos, whom he joined last summer, but several Premier League clubs hope to offer him a better platform so that he can secure his starting place in the Brazil team for the World Cup finals next summer.

of all the recent arsenal players, gilberto silva is one of my favourite players. great player, but not too sure if he wants to play for an epl team other than arsenal, let alone a london team.

He wont move to Fulham and play against Arsenal, and how the gunners sold him for only 1 million pounds is mysterious!!!! He is still a defensive midfield dynamo!!!!
