Fulham are battling with West Brom to sign Greek striker Angelos Charisteas, according to Nurnberg's general manager.

"We have had several talks about Harry (Charisteas). They want him," Nurnberg general manager Martin Bader told Bild.

Reports suggest that Fulham would want a loan deal for the rest of the season, whereas the Baggies want him permanently.
