Fulham hero Clint Dempsey doesn't want to sit out their Europa League clash at Roma tonight.

Dempsey is hoping Fulham's fine recent form continues in Rome.

He told fulhamfc.com: "You always want to play in big games but you've got to see the bigger picture and be ready to be called upon. You've got to take the positives and we got a point from the home game.

"I remember watching the 1990 World Cup with players like Roberto Baggio and Schillaci. It's a good style of football over here and of course they won the last World Cup. It's great for any player to play in a place like this wherever you're from."
