Fulham have been given the go-ahead for their plans to develop Craven Cottage by increasing the stadium capacity by 4,000.
London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham has approved the club's plans to begin significant re-developments of both the Riverside and Hammersmith End stands including additional seating, refurbishment of the corporate facilities and a restaurant.
A statement on the club's official website said: "The club is delighted to announce that its planning application for a development package, that includes a plan to increase the capacity of Craven Cottage by an additional 4,000 seats, was granted.
"Approval has been given for the removal of existing executive boxes from the Riverside Stand to facilitate the addition of further seats, and the corporate facilities would be refurbished to an extremely high specification allowing us to maximise on the revenue making opportunities these areas would generate."
