Fulham goalkeeping coach Jose Sambade Carreira has quit the club.
The Daily Mail says the club's first-team keepers were informed about Carreira's departure on Wednesday, though the decision was made earlier. The coach did not take training on Thursday.
There was no confirmation from the club about the circumstances behind Carreira's shock decision to leave Craven Cottage.
But teething problems in the goalkeeping position since the arrival of Spaniard's Sergio Rico and Fabri during the transfer window may have been a contributing factor.
It is claimed the pair's difficulty with the English language has proved a considerable problem for Slavisa Jokanovic's side in recent weeks.
