Fulham boss Martin Jol is chasing West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie.
The Daily Mail says the Cottagers have reportedly opened talks for the 30-year-old after cooling their interest in Marseille's Andre-Pierre Gignac.
Fulham are willing to pay £3 million plus performance-related add-ons for the 30-year-old but West Brom value the player at the £5m mark.
Odemwingie has endured a rocky ride at The Hawthorns despite scoring 15 goals in his first season in the Premier League.
