Fulham go for Tottenham's O'Hara

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is ready to pounce for Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara.

The Mirror says Hodgson is ready to capitalise on the financial uncertainty around crisis club Portsmouth by attempting to hi-jack their bid to re-sign O'Hara on loan.

O'Hara, 23, is set to return to parent club Tottenham on January 15 when his present deal expires as the Premier League are yet to give Pompey special clearance to re-sign the midfielder.

Pompey have been under a transfer embargo since October after owing more than £7million in unpaid transfer fees to Chelsea, Watford and Spurs.
