Sascha Riether hopes Fulham can keep hold of Dimitar Berbatov.

Riether says want-away striker Berbatov will be key to Fulham's survival hopes.

He said: "He's our best player, there is no doubt about that so we need him to come out of this ­situation.

"In the last games he has been fantastic.

"He has shown he wants to have success with the team and he gave everything."
