Fulham fail in loan bid for Arsenal’s Park

Fulham have been unsuccessful in a bid to get striker Park Chu-young on loan from Arsenal.

Goal.com suggests that the Cottagers were looking to take the South Korea captain for the remainder of the season but the Gunners are keen on keeping him at the Emirates Stadium.

Park has been used sparingly by Arsene Wenger so far this season but Arsenal’s rejection of the loan bid indicates that the Frenchman may look to use him in the second half of the season.
