Fulham face competition from Schalke for Porto midfielder Steven Defour.

The Daily Mail says Porto are considering a £4million offer from Fulham which would rise on appearances with a three and a half year contract on offer for the Belgium midfielder.

However, Schalke who have considered a return for Lewis Holtby also from Tottenham have expressed an interest.
