Fulham face competition for Senegalese striker

Fulham, Marseille and Hertha Berlin are all in the hunt for Maritimo striker Baba Diawara, according to reports in Portugal. The 21-year-old striker admits that he would be interested in a move to the Premier League but adds that he has not been contacted directly by Fulham.

"Fulham is a good club, if they want to sign me they know what to do," he told skysports.com.

"There are no contacts with me. I learnt about it in the papers as well."

Baba reveals that he is also aware of the interest from France but accepts that it is up to Maritimo whether he will leave in the summer.

"I know there are clubs interested in me in France, but I am at Maritimo and they have the decision, not me."
