Aaron Spear has surprisingly been allowed to leave Newcastle United.
The Evening Chronicle says former Plymouth Argyle hot prospect Spear has left Newcastle after failing to make an impact on Tyneside three years since signing from the Pilgrims.
The 18-year-old was understood to be unsettled in the North East and has now been linked with Fulham.
Spear's representatives are also fielding interest from Holland.
