Fulham dump Swansea out of FA Cup

Fulham has come from a goal down to knock Swansea City out of the FA Cup in their fifth round replay. The first half was a tight affair with neither side really taking any ascendency but Swansea made their intentions clear by pressing forward early.

The breakthrough came just minutes after the restart through Jason Scotland who placed his shot nicely to beat Mark Schwarzer in Fulham's goal.

The visitors looked set to record an upset when the Cottagers still hadn't scored with less than 15 minutes remaining but Roy Hodgson pushed his men forward in a bid to net an equaliser.

A corner in the 77th minute from Simon Davies found Clint Dempsey who steered it home to give the Premier League side renewed hope.

That hope was made a reality when Bobby Zamora scored his second goal in three days in the 81st minute to send Fulham through to the next round.

The goal was set up again by Davies, allowing Zamora to head home to make it 2-1.
