Fulham will end their pursuit of Santos midfielder Arouca after compelting the signing of Scott Parker from Tottenham.
The Cottagers had been in talks with the 27-year old Brazilian about a £5million move to Craven Cottage but will no longer go after his services after Parker sealed his shift from North to Southwest London earlier on Monday.
Arouca kicked off his career with Fluminense in 2004 and had a short spell with Sao Paulo before heading to Santos in 2010 and it appears as though he will remain in Brazil's south.
