Fulham are determined to keep hold of young goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.
Fulham are confident they are winning the battle to persuade Bettinelli to ignore a move to Chelsea and stay at Craven Cottage.
The London Evening Standard says Fulham began talks with the 22-year-old over an extension last month and are optimistic the promise of regular first team football will convince him to stay.
Bettinelli started 45 games this season and Fulham feel that staying at the club would be the wisest move.
