Fulham defender Aaron Hughes admits the departure of Roy Hodgson for Liverpool has come as a blow.
But he insists the squad are simply focused on preparing for the new campaign and is confident a new man will be appointed shortly.
Hughes said: "It is a big blow after what he did for us over the past two-and-a-half years, it is fantastic what he did for this club.
"It is understandable why a big club like Liverpool would come in for him. It is a big opportunity for him, we all wish him well and I'm sure he will go on and do a fantastic job.
"We have to just to concentrate on pre-season and our games and I'm sure the situation will be resolved as soon as possible."
