Fulham defender Hangeland: Zamora fitness crucial for Wolfsburg

Brede Hangeland admits the fitness of Fulham striker Bobby Zamora is key going into tonight's Europa League second-leg clash at Wolfsburg.

Fulham are in Germany tonight defending a 2-1 lead.

Zamora was unavailable for selection last weekend after an aggravation to his Achilles tendon; however Hangeland is hoping Fulham's leading scorer will be in line for a return.

He told fulhamfc.com: “He’s [Zamora] a key player and we don’t look the same when he’s not playing. Hopefully he’ll be back and 100% fit for Thursday to give their defence a few problems.”
