Having signalled his intentions to fight for a first-team place at Fulham once his season-long loan deal in the Midlands ends, he regularly monitors proceedings.
“I keep a close eye on Fulham and I speak to a lot of the lads,” he told the Sunday Mercury. “My aim is to go back there and break into the first team.
“I’m trying to keep an eye on the players in my position, how the team is playing and that. The results aren’t going the way they would like at the moment, but I think the gaffer has built a really good team.
“If you look at the squad that he had when he came and compare it to the squad he has got now, it’s a lot stronger."
