Fulham defender Briggs reluctant to make new loan move

Fulham fullback Matthew Briggs is reluctant to leave on-loan next season.

Briggs wants to be pushing for a first team place under manager Martin Jol.

"I went out on loan for a couple of months, and it was a good experience for me at the time and good to get some minutes under my belt because I needed to go out and get some games," he explained to "Ideally, I'd prefer to stay here and fight for my place next season, and if an opportunity becomes available I want to try and take my chance.

"My target for next season is to definitely get some more Premier League games under my belt and do as well as I possibly can whenever I'm called upon."
