Fulham's deal for Darlington youngster Dan Burn should guarantee the club's financial future.
The Daily Mail says Fulham have signed 18-year-old defender Burn from Darlington, which should secure the Blue Square Bet Premier club's future.
Burn had been courted by Everton, after boss David Moyes saw him play Newport County last week.
He has only played 10 games for Darlington, but the FA Trophy finalists hope to clinch a deal worth £2million over Burn's career.
