Fulham crock Grygera in Colorado for knee surgery
Fulham defender Zdenek Grygera is set to undergo knee surgery in Colorado.
The People says the 31-year-old Czech international ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in an innocuous clash with Gareth Bale during last weekend’s 3-1 defeat by Tottenham and is expected to be sidelined for at least six months.
He was due to fly to Denver yesterday to visit the Vail clinic of renowned surgeon Dr Richard Steadman, who has helped Premier League stars such as Michael Owen, Craig Bellamy and Owen Hargreaves.
