Fulham are believed to be in talks to bring former defender Paul Konchesky back to Craven Cottage.
The 29-year old left-back landed at Anfield in the summer with hopes of challenging for a title with the famous club but instead has endured a horror opening six months with the Reds.
He has not been selected by Kenny Dalglish since he stepped up in early January after being originally lured to the club by former Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson.
Now Fulham are prepared to throw him a lifeline by offering him a loan deal for the remainder of the season and are trying to push through a deal before the end of January according to reports.
