Fulham confirm Keller out four months

Fulham keeper Kasey Keller has been ruled out for up to four months after picking up an injury in training.

The American shot-stopper went straight into the starting eleven at Craven Cottage when he signed on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach.

However, he damaged his arm during training and has been forced to sit on the sidelines while Antti Niemi reclaims the number one jersey.

"Keller has torn the left bicep in his arm," a Fulham spokesperson told Yanks Abroad.

"The manager (Lawrie Sanchez) was expected to play him in the starting line-up before he injured it prior to a game.

"These types of injuries usually last three to four months, we hope to have him as soon as possible because he has so much experience to bring to Fulham."
