Fulham are closing in on AS Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Fulham Chronicle says the Whites tried to sign the 30-year-old in January, only for the move to collapse on deadline day.
However, boss Martin Jol is understood to have revived his interested in the Holland international, who is believed to be due in London next week to finalise the deal.
An agreement over a £3 million fee for Stekelenburg has been struck.
