Fulham boss Martin Jol is determined to land West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble.

The Daily Star says Jol yesterday revived his interest in long-term target Noble by contacting West Ham about the midfielder's availability.

Noble is considered a potential replacement for former skipper Danny Murphy, who joined ­Blackburn in June.

Jol could finally land Noble for a cut-price fee as his contract expires next summer and talks over a new deal have stalled.
