Huddersfield Town hotshot Jordan Rhodes says Manchester United icon Paul Scholes is his role model.

Rhodes is the target of Fulham, Everton and Celtic.

He told the Scottish Sun: "I watch a lot of people to see how they handle themselves on and off the field.

"Paul Scholes is a very good role model in the way he's conducted himself through his career.

"I look at tennis players and see how they handle themselves as well.

"They are focused and I find the focus on the athletes who are getting ready for the Olympics fascinating.

"I read a lot of books about sports people. I'm currently reading Scholes' book. I like to find out how they distract themselves off the field, how they entertain themselves and what their outlook is."
