Fulham have broke the bank to keep hold of Brede Hangeland.
The Sun says Hangeland has signed a £7million deal to stay at the heart of Fulham's defence.
The Norwegian was being chased by Arsenal in the summer but has agreed a fresh 3½-year deal worth £40,000 a week
Hangeland said: "I hope this will now end months of speculation about my future.
"I have always maintained I am happy at Fulham and committed to doing everything I can to ensure the ongoing success of the team."
