Fulham are closing in on 18-year old midfielder Junior Malanda.

The Daily Mail says Fulham are in the driving seat for Malanda after matching Zulte-Waregem's £4m-plus asking price for the powerful teenager, who can operate in the centre of defence as well in a midfield anchor role.

Udinese are also in the hunt, but Fulham have been heartened by news that Malanda's father would welcome the chance to relocate to London, where several members of his family already live.
