Fulham are on the brink of a £2 million deal for Lyon striker Frederic Piquionne.

The Mirror says Piquionne wants to come back to the Premier League after a year on loan at Portsmouth, ending with an FA Cup final appearance at Wembley.

The experienced forward met with boss Roy Hodgson before going home to consider his future - and the clubs have thrashed out a figure after a couple of weeks of haggling.

Piquionne's arrival at the Europa League finalists could pave the way for one of their forwards to leave.
