Fulham are closing in on a deal for Everton striker Andy Johnson.

The Sun says Johnson looks set to complete a £10.5million switch to Fulham after being left out of Everton’s side last night.

The England striker, also linked with Wigan and Sunderland, played all of Saturday’s 4-2 defeat at Cambridge after overcoming a calf problem.

AJ was at Deepdale before kick-off but did not stay to watch the game - and is now set for Craven Cottage.
