Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez has hinted wingers are a priority for this summer's market.
QPR have already rejected a Cottagers bid this week for Lee Cook and Sanchez told fulhamfc.com: "Top-flight football has also become more sophisticated and technical in the last 20 years.
"And we have to be the same if we're going to entertain Fulham fans and win more than eight games as we did last season."
Sanchez further expanded on his point by saying, "My hometown team, Reading, had five wingers last season.
"And look what David Beckham did for England the other week. You talk about modern European ideas etc. And what owed much to that win in Estonia? A big centre forward; a smaller one playing off him, and some great deliveries from the wing."
