Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen has revealed he's recommended to Sir Alex Ferguson that he stay away from Manchester United games this season.
Ferguson's presence has led to talk it is increasing the pressure on his successor, David Moyes.
Meulensteen told The Sun: "I remember saying after he retired 'you should stay away for a year and see how it goes leave it alone'. But he wasn't able to do that.
"It's not surprising because if that is what you have been doing all your life, it becomes very hard to say goodbye to it."
