New Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen is convinced of a successful relationship with club owner Shahid Khan.
Meulensteen has been in constant contact with the American owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars since he was appointed last month.
"From his [Khan's] point of view, he wants to know what is going on and that shows that he cares," said head coach Meulensteen.
"From our point of view, we need to keep him posted on where we are and how everything is going. It is a two-way thing. We have had very good communications since I joined Fulham and that is very important. My relationship with him is excellent."
