Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen has cooled talk of a move for Manchester United fullback Alexander Buttner.

Meulensteen insists he's in the dark over a potential move for the 24-year-old left-back.

When asked about the reported interest in Buttner, he replied: "Not that I know of. We're getting linked with more players everyday."
