Fulham boss Felix Magath has explained recalling defender Jack Grimmer from his Port Vale loan.
The 20-year-old defender made 14 appearances for the Valiants before his spell at the League One club was cut short this week due to Fernando Amorebieta's suspension and Dan Burn's ongoing injury problems.
Magath said: "We have Dan Burn injured and now Fernando is out, so we are short of defenders. Therefore I called Jack back and, maybe not on Sunday but in the next few weeks, he may play for us."
