Fulham boss Jol turns up heat on Liverpool chief Comolli

Fulham boss Martin Jol has turned the heat up on Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli.

Jol accused the Frenchman of lining up his successor at Tottenham, Juande Ramos, four months before he was finally dismissed in October 2007.

The pair may meet for the first time since their split when Fulham welcome Liverpool on December 3.

Jol admitted: "Have I had any contact with Comolli since? No. He was the one who came up with Ramos. But that was before the season started - that was in July. That was a bit strange to say the least.

"The reason I came to Fulham is because I love the people here. That's the feeling I have with all English people, though at the end at Spurs, maybe some people weren't nice to me."
