Fulham boss Martin Jol insists Adel Taarabt is a big part of his plans.
The midfielder, 24, is still short of full fitness but Martin Jol today revealed that he is putting in extra work at the training ground to get in shape.
"He is still fighting and doing extra sessions to get him fit," said Jol, "Adel is a Maradona type of talent. He is a one off. He is one of the most gifted players you will ever see on the pitch but he has to be a team player as well."
