Fulham boss Jol stands by Kasami spotkick fine

Fulham boss Martin Jol insists he was right to fine Pajtim Kasami for his spotkick miss against Chelsea.

Fulham boss Martin Jol insists he was right to fine Pajtim Kasami for his spotkick miss against Chelsea.

Jol dished out the £500 punishment when the Swiss midfielder fluffed his spot-kick against Chelsea in the Carling Cup last month.

He said: "I asked them if they thought it wrong or right. Most times they agree and Kasami agreed.

"If I tell someone to take the free-kicks there shouldn't be a 19-year-old taking the ball off you."
