Fulham boss Martin Jol is seeking a step up in quality this summer.
Jol wants Fulham to be challenging for European qualification.
"I'm ambitious, like Fulham are, to play in the top six, top seven, top eight," said Jol. "When I came here we had a fantastic team and got 52 points.
"You need ambitious players and that is what I want. If eight or nine players leave, then we'll need five or six.
"The important thing is that we have to build a new team because we have a big amount of players on loan. I used eight players in central midfield [this season] and that is a lot for a Premier League team."
