Fulham boss Martin Jol has ruled out a loan departure for winger Alex Kacaniklic.
Jol admits the Swede has asked him where he stands after being left out of away games.
"Alex did well in home games, but it's harder in away games, because he's not an experienced player," said the Fulham manager to the Fulham Chronicle.
"He would like to know why I'm not playing him and I tell him. 'You played well in your first game against Norwich, but you didn't play well after that.'
"It's a good explanation - especially in the away games, and he knows that. He's a good talent but he will feature again because I think he could be a wonderful winger.
"He won't go out on loan though, because he's very close to the line up. Last week in training, for example, he was in my first XI."
