Fulham boss Jol keeping door open for Grygera

Fulham boss Martin Jol may still hand new terms Zdenek Grygera after his comeback this week.

Jol has not yet closed the door on the possibility of keeping such an experienced player - providing he can convince him that there are no lasting effects of the injury.

The former Juventus and Ajax stopper, back from serious knee injury, featured in the win over Kingstonian.

"He did well from the first match, which is very unusual [for a player new to English football]," the Dutchman told the Fulham Chronicle. "I was very happy with him.

"He can play left-back, right-back or centre-back, but it's not a minor injury. It isn't easy to come back to full fitness if you're that age."
