Fulham boss Martin Jol is confident Clint Dempsey wants to stay.

The USA attacker has been linked with Sevilla and PSG in recent days.

Jol has played down speculation that Dempsey was set to leave Craven Cottage over the summer.

He said: "There wasn't a club coming in for him, a phone call or even showing interest and that was better because we don't want to sell him anyway."
