Fulham boss Jol has fingers crossed for Hangeland

Fulham manager Martin Jol hopes Brede Hangeland's Achilles injury is not too serious.

The Norwegian centre-back sustained the problem in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United and his boss has his fingers crossed that he does not spend too long on the sidelines.

"Hopefully it is not a long one," the Dutchman said.

Fulham's loss to United sees the Southwest London club sitting 13th on the Premier League table ahead of next weekend's clash with 14th-placed Norwich City at Carrow Road.
