With five goals from his first three matches, the Russian is reaping the rewards of his efforts on the training pitch according to his Manager.
"Pavel always wants to work," Jol told fulhamfc.com. "He stays longer on the pitch to work on his game. He's a hard worker and everything he's achieved is through hard work. In games I think he realises that there's a few players around him who can set him up for goals and he probably can't believe his luck but he will keep his feet on the ground."
