Fulham boss Jol: Fans have right to be worried

Fulham boss Martin Jol understands the concern of fans over their slow start to the season.

With Fulham still searching for a second win of the season and languishing in the relegation zone of the table in its early stages, Jol understands the fans' concern.

Jol said: "They're entitled to (be worried). I'm concerned as well, even the players, even my captain (Brede Hangeland).

"If Bent is not there, Berbatov is injured, you realise with the youngsters - (Alex) Kacaniklic and (Patjim) Kasami - there's maybe not enough goals.

"That is what we showed against Newcastle; 85th minute we could have scored. We didn't, they scored.

"The West Bromwich game was awful; the final minute of the game, 93rd minute and we gave away three points.

"We had four opportunities, the ball was in the net four times and they scored an equaliser. It was pretty tough for us.

"(But) if everybody is there, I think we're strong enough to make steps and have a good season."
