Fulham boss Martin Jol can't speak too highly of summer arrival Scott Parker.
One of the big positives for Jol so far this term has been Parker, the midfielder recruited from Tottenham who made his debut against Arsenal.
The Fulham boss said: "He was exactly the kind of guy we expected him to be.
"He was the only one we spent money on. I think he was worth it.
"I enjoy watching him, the fans enjoy watching him and hopefully he will continue to do that.
"He is a spirit. He wants to win here, he shows us the way in midfield, he works hard.
"He's played all the games (since signing). I needed him (against Everton).
"I really thought it was necessary that Scott Parker played. That shows you how important he is."
