Fulham boss Martin Jol is convinced on-loan Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong can make a big impact.

Jol wants him to help fill the hole left in his midfield by the sale of Mousa Dembele and the injury to Mahamadou Diarra.

Jol said: "We had different teams in these games. Today it showed we need specific qualities in midfield, which we always did with Dembele or Diarra.

"Frimpong is quite a good warrior. We are not the youngest team in the league and maybe he can give us a bit more legs."
