Martin Jol is determined to guide his Fulham side to a win as soon as humanly possible.
The Cottagers have not won in the Premier League since their opening day triumph at Sunderland and the Dutchman is hoping to put that right when they meet unbeaten Everton in the Capital One Cup at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night.
"We need a win," Jol told reporters.
"It's good for the spirit of the team if we get back to winning games. We played three away matches in the first five in the league. That wasn't easy.
"Against Arsenal [3-1 loss at home], for example, we would like to have got a result and we didn't.
"The West Brom game (1-1) was very important for us and they scored in the final minute of added time. That was a draw."
